◆What are Social Products? Social products are a general term for products and services that are gentle to people and the earth, such as "eco-friendly," "organic," "fair trade," "donations," and "rooted in local communities and traditions," which allow consumers to connect with actions and organizations for building a sustainable society.

◆Comments from the judges

This initiative is commendable for its deep understanding of the characteristics of children's clothing, while actively addressing social issues such as environmental protection and cultural preservation. The use of Kurume Kasuri, a traditional textile, to create classical and simple children's clothing is particularly appealing. Furthermore, the high ethical fashion value is demonstrated by the utilization of irregularly shaped fabric scraps and the use of pesticide-free organic cotton, ensuring no child labor. The concept of "good quality products for long-term use" is well-aligned, and the ability to enjoy the changing texture unique to Kurume Kasuri over time is also highly appreciated. The company's response to environmental and human rights issues in the apparel industry, its awareness-raising activities, and the story of product development and brand launch from the perspective of parents themselves are compelling and highly empathetic. This is an innovative approach that connects Kasuri with children's clothing, and with its high product quality, there are high expectations for future developments.
